Cessation of Tobacco Use at Post 176

At the 5 February 2019 General Membership meeting a vote on tobacco use inside the building at Post 176 Springfield, Virginia was taken. With 85 Legionnaires in attendance, an overwhelming majority, 90%, voted in favor of stopping all tobacco use inside the building beginning at the close of business on Sunday February 10, 2019. The members also voted to construct, at minimal expense, a designated smoking area on the 2nd floor outside patio outside the social quarters. In addition, we will use a professional cleaning company to clean and remove smoke odor.
