TRANSPORTATION FOR THE ELDERLY. Are you over 50 years of age and are no longer able to drive? The Shepherd’s Center of Fairfax South County may be the answer to your problem. Volunteer drivers transport older adults to medical, dental, therapy, or any medically related needs from their homes to the appointments and back home. This service is available free of charge to all clients over 50 years of age residing in Fairfax South County,

The Shepherd’s Center of Fairfax South County is a “not for profit” 501(c)3 organization that helps older adults continue to live independently in their own homes. A variety of support services and enrichment programs are provided by older adult volunteers who use the knowledge and skills acquired over their lifetimes to offer assistance to their peers.
