Sons of the American Legion - Post 176
The Sons of The American Legion (S.A.L.) Post 176 is a proud community dedicated to honoring the service and sacrifice of our nation’s military veterans. Founded in 1932, the S.A.L. is a program of The American Legion, open to male descendants of veterans who served in the U.S. military and were eligible for American Legion membership. Our squadron meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Atlas Room on the second floor of the Post. As part of the larger Legion family, our members actively engage in preserving American values, supporting veterans and their families, and fostering good citizenship.
Our mission is to strengthen the four pillars of The American Legion: preserving American traditions and values, improving the quality of life for our nation’s children, caring for veterans and their families, and teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship. Through community service, educational programs, and patriotic activities, we strive to make a positive impact on our local community and beyond.
