MONDAY May 30, 2016 at 5:00pm – American Legion Post 176 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7327 host our annual Memorial Day Ceremony. Legion formal dress is requested but not required.
WEDNESDAY June 1, 2016 at 2:30pm – Post 176 hosts the Virginia Governor McAuliffe for a “Bill Signing” Ceremony to support the Northern Virginia Veteran’s Care Center. Governor of Virginia and Admiral John Harvey the Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs. Sandwiches and snacks after the event if you would like to stick around. Legion formal dress is requested.
JUNE 2016 – New Officer Installation Ceremony Social from 6-7:00pm Ceremony starts at 7:00 In conjunction with Friday Night Dinner
SATURDAY, June 11th, 2016 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM 17th District Past Commander’s BBQ. at American Legion Post 180 for an afternoon of good food, company and family fun.There will be Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Pulled Pork BBQ and “all the Fixins”. There will be a cash bar and free Punch for the Children.
Adults – $ 15.00 / Children – $ 7.00
· WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17 – FORT LEE VA, sponsored by ACAP, Regimental Club, 2609 C Avenue, 23801, 10am-2pm. Focused on transitioning military, veterans, and family members. Open to all job seekers with appropriate ID.
